One month before the start of this 4Th edition, the Elite line-up is taking shape. With more than 40 nationalities and 120 Athletes, MIL 2025 further increases its international dimension and retains the Silver Label. It also gives pride of place to Olympic athletes with no less than 35% of the elite line-up present at the Paris Olympic Games 2024.
The men's 60m Hurdles will see the arrival of Pascal MARTINOT-LAGARDE, French athlete with multiple medals. A 33 Years, the European champion 2018 110m hurdles intends to show that he still has a lot left in mind. In the women's 3000m, Sarah MADELEINE (8:53.51), including the public present at the edition 2024 of MIL remembers his incredible race, will try to retain its title in a much tougher edition, especially with the presence of Ethiopian women Mekedes ALEMESHETE (8:36.71) and Yenawa NBERET (8:44.47)
The women's triple jump promises a dense competition, with the presence of the Cuban Leyanis PEREZ HERNANDEZ (14.98), 2Th world ranking, Diamond League Winner 2024 and 5Th at the Paris Olympic Games. She will be in confrontation with the French Ilionis GUILLAUME (14.59), 3Th at the European Championships 2024, and with the Turkish Tugba DANISMAZ (14.57), MIL Winner 2024 and 2Th at the European Championships 2024, in particular.
The men's 400m will be a highlight of the Meeting, with a beautiful French battle. The local Yann SPILLMANN with his recent 46.18, (qualification level for the European Indoor Championships 2025), will compete against three of the four runners-up in the world championships in 2024 : Gilles BIRON (46.11), David SOMBE (46.23) and Téo ANDANT (46.63).
The level of the field has therefore gone up a notch and we can expect several Meeting records to be broken.
